FLORIDA KEYS

FUN FACTS

It's real life Scary! This Iguana loves smiling for the camera as he's basking in the sunlight, which happens to be this reptile's favorite activity. Did you know that Iguanas can live up to 20 years?!

Marin and JR are no strangers to the sunny shores; catch little J playing in the water! The warm environment allows for lots of marine diversity, and if you're lucky you might see one of the many turtle species native to the Florida Keys!

Scary really has a picture-perfect life doesn't he? Lucky for him, hot and sunny weather is the norm all year long in the keys. Did you know the Florida Keys are the closest you can be to the equator while staying in the United States?

All these reptiles have some company from their good friend the...chicken? Believe it or not, feral chickens are very common in the Keys, otherwise referred to as "gypsy chickens" by the locals.

"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
